Teach Memphis is accepting applications in all subject areas for the 2012-13 school year and for any vacancies that arise during the current school year. While we anticipate having limited opportunities for alternate route English/language arts, social studies area (social studies, geography, economics, history), and business education candidates, we typically anticipate hiring a large number of candidates in the following subject areas:

How to Search for Available Vacancies

Once you are in the Teacher Candidate Pool, please follow these instructions to search for positions for which you may apply:

  1. Search by Region.
  2. In the Region drop down, choose All.
  3. Click on the subject area you're looking for, then press the >> button to move them to the right-hand column.
  4. Please leave the Coaching Requirement and Striving School filters set to All.
  5. Click the Search button at the bottom of the page.
  6. If no vacancies are available for external candidates, a blue 'No Records Found' message will appear near the top of the Vacancy Search page.
  7. If vacancies are available, the position will appear at the bottom of the Vacancy Search page.
