The Striving Schools Zone has implemented a new data tracking system using Tableau Software. The new system creates constant 20-day reports for principals to track both student and teacher progress. Schools leaders are also implementing The Efficacy Institute’s Self Directed Improvement System (SDIS model) to assess student data and set an improvement strategy. The SDIS model helps set proficiency targets for each subject and grade level, build assessments to track progress, and facilitate systems to evaluate the data. Both systems will eventually launch in the entire district, but have been piloted in the SSZ.
