Teaching Experience for Military Service
2006-07 Salary Schedule for Teachers and Mental Health Personnel
The district will recognize ten years of out-of-district teaching (in or out-of-state) in your placement on the salary scale.
To be eligible for the Master’s level pay grade, candidates generally must have a degree in Education or in the content area in which they are teaching.
7/10/07 Salary Increase for MCS Teachers
The 2007-08 salary for teachers and Mental Health Personnel will be increased by 3%. The new starting salary for teachers will be $38,693. The salary scale below does not reflect this increase.

Teaching Experience for Active Military Service – Effective May 31, 2006
Active military service in the armed forces of the United States shall be recognized towards the salary of a licensed educator. Military service in the Reserve or in the National Guard, other than active duty, shall not be counted. No more than five years experience in the armed forces of the United States shall be counted.
