After You Apply for a Transfer

Next steps:

1. We will review your file to confirm your transfer eligibility
2. If eligible for a transfer, you will be placed into the "Ready to Transfer" category
3. If you are one of the top 5 most senior candidates to apply for a position(s), you will be refered to the principal for the position(s).

As you know, transfer applicants are interviewed by principals based on those who have been teaching longest in MCS. If teachers with more seniority have also applied to the positions you have selected, you may not be contacted by the principal to interview, or there may be a delay in being invited to interview until more senior candidates have been interviewed.
